Encaustic 

Encaustic is an ancient form of painting that is created using primarily wax and oil paint on board.  It is fused using a heat gun, scraping and a multiple layering process to create each work.  Most works will have 10 plus layers some as many as 30.

The works below are conceptually based on the 'Coast'. 

My intention is that they should be grouped together, in either two, three or more.
